Ginger, this is Elias.
I apologize if this is perhaps too bold but I was wondering if you would be interested in joining me for dinner?

[Too bold? More like, can't sign my soul over to the devil fast enough!]
Elias, hello! It's so nice to hear from you again--gosh, that would be just, just swell! I'd love to!

I'm thrilled to hear that, Ginger. I was worried I might be too forward with my invitation. May I ask when is a good time for you?
Not at all, you couldn't possibly!
[Especially since she's found herself inexplicably wanting to run around kissing complete strangers, lately. That's bold even for her, but that makes this seem much more tame in comparison.]
Oh, whenever works for you is just fine with me. I'm free as a little bird!

Would tonight work? I would be honored to cook for you if that is alright.
[Yep. Your handsome British crush is saying he'll cook for you, Ginger.]

You want to cook--are you sure? I mean, that would be absolutely lovely but I'd hate to put you to work like that.
We've known each other for so short a time but I believe you are worth that effort.
Elias Bouchard! You are absolutely too much!
[She laughs, clearly more than charmed enough.]
Well then, tonight it is! Shall I come to you, or—I’m afraid I haven’t been the best on keeping up with my grocery shopping.

Come to me. I will gladly lend my kitchen to this. Do you remember which one I told you it is?
[Because he doesn't plan on living her for much longer so of course he doesn't mind her knowing where he lives.]

Yes, I do! I'll be over in just a jiffy; would you like me to pick anything up on the way?
[To bring to his Scapegoat House.]
[To bring to his Scapegoat House.]
Your lovely smile will be more than enough for me.
Oh, stop!
[She's laughing giddily as they end the call. Naturally, she takes the time to freshen up, because how can she not, going to have dinner with such a charming, lovely man? Surely, she arrives just when he expects her to, and Ginger takes a moment to check her hair and her dress before ringing the doorbell.]

[Such sweet innocence. Elias chuckles as he hangs up before going about preparing a delicious meal. When she gets close, he allows her the time to prepare herself and to ring the doorbell to his apartment before going to answer the door. He smiles at her before stepping aside to let her in.]
Please come inside. You look lovely, Ginger.

Well thank you very much, handsome.
[Her eyes are absolutely gleaming as she looks around.]
It smells just delightful in here--what's on the menu?

A surprise. You'll find out when I'm done. For now why not come in and enjoy a glass of wine?
[He offers his arm to her to lead her inside to where his table is. And where a glass of wine is definitely waiting for her.]

Oh, alright.
[How could she possibly say no? Ginger threads her arm through his until they reach the table, and she picks up the wine.]
Now, don't let me drink too much. I'm an absolute lightweight. Cheers?

[On the 20th, Ginger will find a wrapped, unmarked package outside her shop door waiting for her. It contains a mini-homemade ice cream maker machine and nothing else. Merry Christmas! Make your own ice cream and don't drag people out to it.]
If you do then you are welcome to stay the night with my promise that nothing untoward will happen to you.
[She's given a charming smile before he returns to the kitchen to finish the meal he's preparing for them.]

[Ginger, of course, immediately thinks of the untoward possibilities. She can't help herself, he's so...so...so everything! Smiling to herself, she takes a seat so they can talk as he cooks.]
How has work been, by the way? Everything going well?

[I'm personally glad that this is like really sweet but also the most passive aggressive gift ever. She just thinks it's really cute.]
[There is a beautifully wrapped gift waiting for her on her front step. It's marked as being from Elias so that won't be a mystery. Inside will be a beautiful necklace as well as a little note.]
Dearest Ginger,
I hope you will accept this token of my affection. I admit I have become fond of you rather quickly and it warms my heart that you accept my feelings so freely. Though I have to work tonight I would like to have a dinner with you soon if you will have me.
Yours truly,
Elias Bouchard

Victor had asked for something very specific in his stocking. The same thing, three times. Technically he had gotten it though. Kind of. A singular bullet was a bullet, and yet for him that was enough when he realized just what bullet it is.
The same one he had left for Don Falcone when he'd lost the one boss he had wholly and truly respected. At least the only until Ginger.
So he'd talked to someone, had it strung on a silver chain. Wrapped in pink paper and then left it on the kitchen counter for her to find while he lounges about the house, cleaning his guns, and the house.

When Ginger finds the package on the counter, she was just bouncing her way to get a drink--something festive, maybe! She pauses, sure it must be for her with the paper being the color that it is, and he'll be able to hear her gasp as she unwraps it.
Truthfully speaking, a bullet for a necklace isn't her style. And, of course, she doesn't really know the significance. But none of that really matters, because what does matter is she got a present that clearly came from the heart. This is just so, so thoughtful!
"Victor!"
She's all but coming at him, keen on swinging her arms around him and giving him a kiss.
"This is just so sweet of you--will you help me put it on?"

Grinning so wide when she hugs him like that, the kiss stunning him a bit and yet utterly delighted for it. Wrapping his arms around her, hugging her tightly to the point of lifting her up and swinging her about.
"You like it? Really? It's... it's kind of important to me," he admits as he sets her down, offering his hand to take the necklace so he can put it on her. "I got it in my stocking and, well, I thought you should have it."
Low as he is on bullets, he has no desire to fire that particular bullet. It belongs to his Boss, and now that's Ginger.

Ginger squeals at the return embrace, unable to stop herself from bursting out into a round of joyful laughter. "I do! Of course I do!" On her own feet again, she trades him the necklace so she can lift up her hair and offer him the back of her neck. "Are you sure you don't mind me having it if it's so important?"
She's flattered, though, of course she is.
